How very interesting, a nice picture taken, I especially like how the fog in the background obscures the surroundings, making the borders significance more ominous and its future mysterious.

Also nice pose, what kind of rifle was that?

Thank you very much for your comments.
The whole scenery was unbelievable indeed, especially if you consider the "tension" between my country and Turkey, although we had excellent relationships with the turkish soldiers.
The fog and the temprature (-20 celsium) were just adding to the scenery every day.

The rifle is the standard assault rifle of the Greek Army, the exceptional (although old model) G3 A3,using 7,62 ammo.(it was fully loaded at all times my friend)

Irrelevant, but I just think Black Adder goes front is unbelievably good.
I am amazed of the critisism it offers of a dark part of England's history, the tragic mistakes of Haig and so more....and also it is so funny...
But the part that really shocked me is the episode of Black Adder that HE, as a servant of the Prince, advices Duke of Wellington to commit the critical naval battle at Trafalgar!!!!

Ahh yes the end of season three where he poses as the Prince and casually mentions the battle of Trafalgar, that was funny. Especially how the Duke has to kill him for his little 'misgrievance' :D

We have always been able to laugh at things in the past, Haig I think was a little mad to be honest, but no more insane than any of the German, Austrian or French leaders were, all of them kept the soldiers dug into trenches for years on end, sending their sodliers at each other every few weeks

Yes of course, no question about that....They all had lost their fucking minds....

Oh, I have a question: What is the origin of your word "bloody" ?
I was just wondering of that for a long time.

The usage of the word bloody was brought about around 400 years ago, however there are many thoughts as to how it was in fact brought into usage, my grandfather told me that several likely ways it was brought up refer to using the 'Virgin Mary' in a derogative manner, such as using Jesus and the such, but using it in local accent mannerisms.

However he told me a more likely method of it being brought around. He told me that the word was brought into derogative meaning because of Queen Mary I, as she was and is referred to as 'Bloody Mary' by Protestants, who were numerous, and by moral minded Catholics. Over time, it naturally came into local dialect.

As I said before, no one I know knows exactly how it came about, but that's the most likely explanation

No problem.
I have a question for you, if you don't mind.

I know there was a war in the early 20th century in Greece, what was that about?
